We live in such a hustle, bustle world-its hard as we hurry through most days and rarely make time for ourselves, our relationships, our own peace of mind! We need to find something to SLOW US DOWN; bring us PEACE OF MIND. The answer is TRAVEL LING. I know it can be stressful to prepare, pack & sometimes get to your destination; but the result is PEACE OF MIND. Think of this:
It gets you OUT of the day- to- day grind
It enhances your RELATIONSHIPS
It makes us HAPPY; its good for the SOUL
There is one thing that isn’t going away-stress & sickness. How many people do you know right now that have an illness that could be linked to how much stress they have faced in their lives ?! Personally, I want to stay ahead of these stress-disease-illnesses and one way to do it is PEACE OF MIND. Slow down… but how ? I will tell you how- TRAVEL LING. To travel nourishes the soul. INDULGE in what you like; whatever that is ! Nature, Food, Historical Places, a different climate- whatever your fancy. It will bring you happiness, releasing those great- feeling GOOD ENDORPHIN ES into your bloodstream which will bring you more PLEASURE & PEACE. You won’t know unless you try…
It isn’t pretty to see people suffer, stressed out & without peace- they are easy to spot, just look at their face. There are so many different ways to travel- you don’t have to spend a lot of $ to do it, just get away from the regular routine of your life and travel to wherever you mind takes you… Jump into your car for a 2 hour picnic, turn up the radio or have complete silence with nothing but the wind whistling though the car… can you hear it ? Sign up to any of the numerous Internet sites that SAVE YOU $$ with last minute getaway ideas at low $$ JUST DO IT RIGHT NOW- start by pulling up your CALENDAR, look into next week & actually book a lunch hour for yourself away from your regular routine!
Remember we function more fully when we are LESS STRESSED & more at PEACE. So, if peace of mind is what you are looking for- then GO DO SOME TRAVEL LING !
