What truly is the Best SLR Camera on the market today? Is it the SLR with the most features or maybe one with the highest amount of pixels? Could the best digital camera be one that incorporates HD 1080 video in to something I just wanted to take pictures of my best friend "dog", or a photo now and then of my kids and maybe one of the wives? Most digital cameras or SLRs in general work the same. Digital cameras have many different features and you most certainly pay extra for those features no matter what brand of camera you choose.

Choosing the best digital camera will take you hours of research looking at Digital Camera Reviews 2011 and in photo magazines and on the internet. Trying to remember each of the different features Canon, Pentax and Nikon have to offer, not to mention the other top camera manufactures. Some people seem to find Best Camera Prices are the way to find the best deals, which still takes a considerable amount of research so you’re comparing apples to apples. But, cameras versus camera; if it’s in the same price range give or take a hundred dollars, and the camera features are close. When choosing a digital SLR keep in mind, are you’re looking for the best camera for photography, or the camera features that you may never use.

How to Find the Best Digital Camera for you.

This could be like finding a needle in a haystack or worse, like finding a particular needle in a mound of needles. They basically all look alike and do the same thing, but you might find one you like more than the others. Would this in fact be the best digital camera? Being the best is in the eye of the beholder, you have to like a camera because of what it does for you. Someone else’s camera, though comparable to yours may not be the best to you. If it doesn’t feel comfortable to you while taking photographs chances are you won’t be too enthused about using it. If you have a local camera shop in your town stop in and ask to check out the different cameras they have available. Most Camera Stores will be glad to let you snap off a few shots to get you hooked. Try different brands of cameras if they are available, a Canon Digital SLR Camera might more comfortable to you than a Nikon Digital Camera.

The best camera for digital photography is the one that won’t distract you from composing your shot or giving you discomfort holding it trying to press the shutter button. When you look for a camera you need to know what type of photography that interests you the most, sports photography, portrait photography or even landscape photography. You don’t need a camera that shoots 6.3 frames per second to do Landscapes but a full frame digital camera would be nice. And I don’t need the full frame camera to take sports shots, so I will look for a camera that shoots 6.3 fps. The best digital camera for photography is the camera that is comfortable in your hands and fills your photographic needs.
