Bichon Frise

Looking after any dog can be rewarding and fun. But there's a large amount of responsibility too. Little dogs can need more attention from their owners, they won't get left alone for over a day, and they could have health issues as they age. Smaller dogs also don't require as much exercise as other breeds.

Little dog breeds such as the poodle, maltese, shiz tu, and bichon frise are thought to be a hypo allergenic dog because they don't shed as much as other breeds and they produce less dander. Little dog breeds wish to spend lots of time with their owners. This will mean being in the same room, sitting on your lap, or being next to your bed at night.

Depending on your dog's personality, you might need to adjust your schedule to spend more time at home with your hypo allergenic dog.

As your dog ages, it may need less attention, but as a rule, a little hypo allergenic dog will demand a load more of your time than larger breeds. You'll have to keep your dog occupied with toys and games so that it doesn't lose interest. Some little dogs enjoy completing jobs and are thought to be 'working dogs.' If you notice that your dog appears dozy or doesn't want to play with their toys any more, you could need to buy them some new ones. Playing fetch common-or-garden mimics a role that may keep your dog chuffed. When you must travel, you need to board your dog so that it won't feel lonely. Dogs that are left alone for some days will sometimes not eat their food to preserve it. They may become indignant or scared and destroy your house or they may make themselves sick with worry. If you don't wish to board your dog, you need to have somebody pet sit or at least check in on the dog.

As your little hypo allergenic dog ages, they might be subject to many health issues. Due to their tiny frame, they may suffer damaged or fractured bones, arthritis, and other motor ability issues. Loss of eye sight, sense of smell, and hair loss are also common. Whilst these breeds have a tendency to live 15 to eighteen years generally they could have health issues for some years. If you're looking for a dog to run with on the beach or take for long walks, then you could need to look elsewhere for a dog. Tiny breeds, though they adore to run, play, and jump, don't need as much exercise. Walking the dog round the block is sufficient as the dogs will become knackered and perturbed. Some little breeders like the terrier can walk and run for a little whilst longer, but they do not need to energy that bigger breeds have. When searching for a hypo allergenic dog, you must think about your lifestyle and what you need from a pet. If you'd like to stroll your dog short distances every day and play fetch, then these could be for you.
