Hunting dogs, though historically used for hunting little game including foxes, rabbits, and others, became household pets to several. Intelligent, graceful, and energetic, these dogs can bring joy and comfort to any home. Hypoallergenic hunting dogs are available for people that have an allergy to dogs.  Three popular breeds include the German Shorthaired Pointer, the Afghan Hound, and the Basenji.

The German Shorthaired Pointer still used for hunting purposes today, is also considered a sensible choice for a family dog. The dog has a short coat that may be brushed simply. A short coat will not shed as much as longer coats and will not hold as much dander either. This is the reason why the German Shorthaired Pointer is a glorious choice for those that be afflicted by allergies. Long and lean, these dogs are really friendly and enjoy getting their exercise. Not too much additional care is required as the dogs don't have to be groomed regularly and they should really only be washed when they are intensely soiled. An amalgam of a German Pointer and a British Pointer, the German Shorthaired Pointer is a good dog to have when on a hunt. The dog replies to noise and movement very quickly and is a faithful companion to have when outside.

The Afghan Hound may not look like a hypoallergenic dog with its long hair, but since the hair is comparable to human hair, the dogs don't shed as often, which cause less allergy issues for owners and people who visit. Whilst this dog was once used to hunt foxes, wolves, and deer, it's not longer used today. Instead, it is kept as a pet or for dog showing. With its pretty brown coat, this dog is a showpiece. The Afghan hound is a nice dog, but it doesn't take commands as frequently as it should.

Unlike other hypoallergenic breeds, this dog will ignore commands manufactured by its owner on occasion as it attempts to maintain its autonomy. If you're looking for a dog that is straightforward to control, the Afghan Hound would possibly not be the one for you.

The Basenji is an example of the few breeds of hypo allergenic dog that does not bark. It'll imitate sounds heard in its environment, but it doesn't bark on its own. Instead, the dog will yap a couple of times, but otherwise, it's an extraordinarily quiet reproduce. If you live in an house, this dog is a sensible choice. Tiny dogs that came from Africa, the Basenji is not used for hunting. The dog has shorter hair that does not shed as frequently.  This is one more reason why it's a popular hypo allergenic dog.  The Basenji, like the Afghan Hound does not take commands too frequently from owners. The dog is quiet, but likes to explore new places.  While you could be in a position to train the dog to perform certain jobs, many times the Basenji will not desire to obey.
