We're going to spend some time looking at the fascinating mindset and psychology shared by all of the greatest business pioneers, achievers, record breakers and trailblazers. Think of these as guiding principles to run your business by - these are the rules of the game.

Now think about this for a moment - If Richard Branson, or the Dragon's Den Dragons ran your business...would it be in better shape 12 months from now than if you ran it?

If the answer is "yes", let me get you to think about why?

In a nutshell, mindset is the ticket into the arena of achievement, success and wealth.

It's your most precious asset in business. You could lose your business overnight, but if you have the mindset, you'd be back in business the next day. If you don't, you're beaten.

First understand, mind is the keystone of your entire experience in life, in business, in wealth. Everything you do, every way you respond, every action you take is first a thought in mind. Nothing can happen or be achieved in your life unless and until it is first conceived in your mind as a possibility.

Mind is non-judgmental. It is your most willing and obedient slave. It is plastic to your will. Mindset is the 'type' and 'shape' of thought you determine your mind will adopt. Everyone on earth already possesses a mindset. The problem is, for the majority of people, it is negative.

"I don't deserve success; I'm not cut out for much; I don't know how to achieve this result; I sneezed, I must be catching a cold; nothing ever works for me; I know money doesn't grow on trees so I'll have to work my tail off to make a decent living; it's hard to make money; all I want is to make enough money to feed my family, have a decent place to live and a couple of holidays a year..."

I could go on for fifty pages (probably more) but you know what I mean. It is incredible to me how most people 'programme' themselves to accept mediocrity or worse, a life of pain and struggle.

The average human being thinks 24,000 different thoughts a day. That is amazing! The problem is, when a sample group had their thoughts monitored and analysed, it was found the majority of the 24,000 were negative.

In other words, the average person showers their being with more than 12,000 negative thoughts every day of their lives! No wonder we struggle, we get ill, we get depressed, we never do much more financially than pay our way and then have to rely on the state system to feed and clothe us when we retire.

You Already Have a Mindset- But Be Careful What Type It Is

Realise, you already have a mindset. It has been largely influenced by your parents, less so by your peers and experiences.

The attitude of your parents towards health, life, work, success, money, people, government, race, medicine, technology-just about everything they had an opinion on-tends to be what has set your mind.

You Don't Have To 'Get' Mindset, You Only Have To Change It

You already have a fiercely effective mindset. That mindset is producing your current experience and results to great effect! Whatever your surroundings, satisfying or frustrating, whatever your success or struggle, whatever your wealth or poverty, it is all-every detail of it-the result of your mindset.

All you have to do to change your experience and results is change your mindset, and implement according actions.
