As the Web grows ever larger, your environment is becoming much more competitive. This means that if you're using article marketing, whether for yourself, or are writing articles for others, you need to be able to write articles at speed. However, do realize that your articles need to be top quality: never sacrifice quality for quantity.

The best tip I can give you to help you to write articles quickly, is to write articles in batches.

I like to write ten articles at one time. This doesn't mean that I write ten articles in single session, the writing will be spread out over several days. But at the end of two or three or four days, I'll have a batch of articles which are high quality and which are ready to sell.

  1. Check Forums Read by Your Audience: What Do They Want Most?

Your aim is to get readers, and you only get readers if you give them what they want. There are many ways to develop an understanding of your audience, but the easiest way is to visit the forums they read, so that you understand their biggest concerns.

  1. What Keywords Will They Use to Find Your Information?

As an article writer, you can make an excellent income. However, as valuable as keyword research is, I urge you not to become overly dependent on it.

Remember that all keyword data is historical: it only reveals the keywords for which people have searched in the past.

Since some 50 per cent of your audience use keywords which are completely new, you can see that the keyword tools while useful, aren't as valuable as your own brain.

Brainstorm your own keywords, basing them on what you know about your audience.

  1. Write Ten Article Titles

I like to write all ten articles titles at the same time, and I often do that while I'm away from my computer, because I find that I'm more creative and less distracted.

  1. Outline the Articles

I know that some writers think that they can't outline. Relax. Just think of an outline as simply a list of what you might cover in a particular article.

An outline is just a way of jolting your brain awake. Often your articles won't include anything you wrote in your list; the list just generates ideas.

  1. Write the Articles

Once you've created your titles and have created a tentative outline for each article, draft your articles at top speed. Drafting is simply writing the first things that spring to mind, you can always fix it later.

As with writing article titles, I like to draft articles away from my primary computer.

I'll use a voice recorder, or I'll sit in the sun in the backyard with my laptop on my knees. When I write, I want my creativity to be operating at high speed and this can only happen if I'm as relaxed as possible.
