We want to maximize every inch of free time we have right? We don't want to miss schedules, cancel and move any appointments to another date, and add any other stuff because we know it might clutter the whole time management we dedicated for each activity that has been dedicated on that day or on that week for work, family, friends, and for us.

But on a nickel of thought, becoming too conscious with time and our plans of action for that given time, we somehow forget about ourselves; that we set aside any minor discomfort we have on and inside our body. We feel a little pain and we take it for granted, we sniff due to some cold but we somehow say "Tomorrow this will just go away", and we even skip meals just to add an hour or two for getting things done. We therefore save time; but then on the long run, not.

Having a healthy body should be the most basic priority each time-conscious office worker, housewife, laborer, executive, student and every one of us should have. Yes, you feel really great having so much extra hours kept in your time box that you can even say, deadlines don't exist and that every day is a night-out party Friday. But leaving your health out of the top secret time-save equation is just a big NO. Because an error from you own time management formula might just be waiting to stab your back at any time it wants to. And so it happens:

You took for granted of that minor dilemma you had the previous day and look what you are now; pale, coughing and really sick. You can't even stand-up and get yourself some water. This time you realize it caught you flat-footed. The plans are gone, deadline submissions are creeping out your schedule and you totally miss the whole thing over a week for recovery. Everything seems to crumble down in front of you and you just can't do something about it. Health shut its doors on you since you barely gave time to take care of it.

Therefore having the best care we could devote for our health is a top factor we must not forget when planning the time we need for our activities. Having a daily dose of vitamins and health-friendly diet is a given way of health maintenance. Giving time to remedy or even just consult those little itching on our skin or taking care of a headache will not only maintain a stable healthy body but will also be helpful in the detection of impending serious illnesses like cancer and heart disease.

So the next time you think of maximizing your schedule, never forget to give a little moment on taking a little peek of your good health as well, because good health and productive time management go hand to hand. Having all the time in the world means doing everything for it keeping it not to be stolen, and this is by having a healthy and sick-free body.
