So if you're interested in backing up PS3 games it's probably for one of these reasons;

  1. You've broken a game in the past.

  2. You're trying to make a sort of 'warranty' against it happening again.

  3. You want to copy games your friends let you borrow.

The last reason is usually the most popular one (haha I wonder why?!)

Backup Games - It's actually NOT illegal

People seem to be conditioned to think that copying games is illegal. It's actually not though, well I mean not according to the copyright infringement act anyways.

Here's what the copyright infringement act has to say on the matter.

  • It's LEGAL to copy games

  • It's ILLEGAL to sell copied games

Nice and easy, anyone can understand where the mixup usually occurs. Most people think it's against the law to copy but it's only illegal to copy and profit (so as long as you don't you're fine).

Backup PS3 Games - So I won't go to jail?

YUP!

That's right you won't because it's COMPLETELY Legal. Pretty nuts I know, when I found out let's just say my gaming library got a whole lot bigger. It's grown exponentially since and my wallet hasn't lost any green either. Not bad if you ask me, not bad at all.

So try it out and see if it works for you.

So how can you backup PS3 games? How do you get the job done?

When I copy PS3 games there's only one software I use because it's the absolute best.

Whether I'm trying to do it quickly and easily or just want to backup PS3 games it gets it all done without making my life overly complicated.

Try it out and tell me what you think!
