Body protection plates are a protective covering that is worn to prevent one from damage that can inflicted to an individual either through accident or projectiles during motor sport. Protection plates form part of 4x4 accessories and include those for shoulder portions, chest plate, suspender portion, and the back and arm protectors that are nowadays used in motor sport. These plates are riveted to ensure that the portions are able to flex and bend according to how the wearer moves.
The plates are usually made of hard and flexible material such as plastic and one will find most of them appearing with pads from the inside. There have been latest inventions of body protector plates for sportsmen that have been designed in a way that they allow the evaporation of the sportsman's skin once the protector is worn. They usually come in terms of shoulder pads, fore arm pad and a shin pad. These plates are usually made from compressible plastics material with protrusions in the inner side.
One will also find back protectors as part of body protection plates and these ones also form a unique embodiment of protection for the upper part of the body. The back protector can be connected vertically in an adjustable manner to where the suspender portion is.
The protection plates have also undergone further modifications that have seen them come with a rectangular hole in the recess as well as in the corresponding slots and nodules. This helps in tightening the nuts and bolts in securing the nodules and slots against each other.
The plates are also useful for truck drivers and enthusiasts, which has seen the invention of the truck body tractor system. These protectors that form the 4x4 parts have a notable hinge plate with a support and hinge plate that are removable, as well as an operative position exterior. With features such as the support face and an L-shaped configuration that has apertures and a sheet of flexible and durable plastic material and a height greater than that of the side walls. The protector is fit for covering the tires of the truck with holes that are spaced along the upper edge.
