The Convenience of HR Personnel

Even with the economy in shambles, people are still working. While some of the nation is unemployed, other companies have growing needs-for temporary staffing. There are many opportunities in the way of human resources. These individuals must have basic training on computers, office work and sometimes specific software.
Some of these companies have strictly temporary needs, such as hiring for the holiday season, whereas others do have permanent position openings but want to give their new employee a 30-90 day trial period. Temporary staffers who fit into the office atmosphere are often hired as regular employees.
HR personnel are generously rewarded, even if only temporarily employed. Workers can expect competitive compensation with added benefits. Many Fortune 500 companies work with HR staffing firms in an effort to staff projects or deal with an employee shortage.
HR personnel firms usually take niche-approaches to their staffing needs. They attempt to send the right candidate to their client company; someone who is experienced and qualified for the suggested task. An HR personnel company takes pride in its contractors completing assignments, as well as the permanent offers extended to their employees. Some of the best staffing companies report nearly a 100% completion rate, a 50% extension rate (assignments that last longer than planned) and a 40% permanent hiring rate.
HR personnel firms are not just in the business of providing regular employees, but in matching the right worker for the right company. A firm can match a client's requirements on specific skills the worker must possess, as well as a proper geographic location and industry experience. Further considerations must be given to the worker who may have a very particular schedule.
Pricing is also a major issue for HR personnel firms. Pricing should be disclosed and upfront. While it should be advantageous to the hiring company, the worker him or herself should not be paid a below-market salary. Working with an established firm can ensure that the hiring company gets a fair price.
Another factor to consider is the issue of liability. An HR personnel company should limit the legal liability of the client company. The best firms cover their own contractors with a worker's compensation plan. The company may also provide insurance and even unemployment benefits.
If you are looking to maximize your dollar then consider working with an HR firm for your employment needs. Reduce your regular expenses and help your qualified workers to succeed!
