Introduction:- Rain chains are a fashionable, functional and affordable device that adds elegance and charm to your home.
History of rain chains:- Rain chains were firstly used by Japanese. Japanese pronounce them as "kusari doi." Japanese would place them in their homes to collect rain water and use that later.
Working process of rain chain:-The procedure of working of rain chain begins with the removal of old down spouts which little more entails the support brackets and screws and then the down spout itself. This will leave an outlet at the top of your gutter and at this opening a metal support attachment is made as the support structure of rain chains. This is a v shaped metal with wings stretched either side to support the whole structure. From this support rain chain can be attached and hang down freely so that it can empty on to the ground.
Varieties available in rain chains:- When it comes to the varieties of rain chains it becomes very difficult to choose in reference to their shapes, styles, size and material your rain chain is made from. Generally rain chains are made of wood and ceramics but their containers may be elegantly crafted and plainly styled. Some of the people like small number of larger containers and other prefers multitude of small containers. We may choose a chain made of copper that will naturally transform according to the time.
They are easy to install and move we can replace them easily if we want to try different style.
Merits of rain chains:- Rain chains are beneficial for the beauty of the house and as they are made of copper which is eco-friendly so they protect the atmosphere as well. It is quite convincing that rain chains are a better alternative as compared to down spout. Rain chains give a soothing sound which appears pleasant to the ears and they have an impressive visual sight which compels people to install such an effective device.
