Converting Into Islam

Islam believes that people have their natural believe toward God thus they prefer to use the term "reverting" to Islam rather than "converting". The word revert means more to go back to the natural believe to God while the word convert means that you change the faith into Islam. Some people might ask the question of how to convert to Islam when they start to believe in the teaching of Islam. It is actually easy to answer the question of how to convert to Islam, since if you are looking for the guidance, it is available in many places, including in the online sites giving the information.
But before you conduct the steps on how to convert to Islam, it is better for you to read a lot and find as many guidance as possible to make yourself sure of converting your faith into Islam. After all the careful study, and if you want to embrace Islam as your religion, then there are some steps to make yourself a Moslem.
First step in the how to convert to Islam tips involve the intention. It is since Islam believes that every single action is begun with one single intention. Thus, it is important to declare the intention to yourself, quietly, that you are going to convert your faith into Islam. The second step in the how to convert to Islam tips will bring you to the most important step, that is to say the "shahada" with intention, firm belief and faith. The "shahada" consist of two sentences which mean I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. After you declare the "shahada", then you are officially a Moslem. This can be done by yourself, but some people prefer to have witness to the conversion, but it is not a must in the steps of how to convert to Islam, since Islam believes that God is your witness. After you are converting your religion to Islam, there are some forms of worship that must be done in your daily life, including praying, fasting, invoking, seeking refugee in, and offering an animal as a sacrifice. All of these daily activities should be based to God only.
After you do all the steps on how to convert to Islam it is better for you to continue learning, studying and growing, as well as practicing Islam in your daily life. This can be done by reading a lot, or seeking for guidance to some experts, so that you will be more and more faithful in Islam
