Natural bodybuilding is simply muscle training without the use of anabolic or muscle enhancing substances such as steroids or testosterone boosters.Everyone has their own path to physical fitness and overall well being. Some choose yoga, others Pilates, some go for jogging and yet others opt for bodybuilding. For bodybuilders and practitioners of yoga, there is more than exercise that goes into getting in shape and achieving mental equilibrium - it's a lifestyle.Testosterone plays a major role when you want to gain muscle. This hormone stimulates increased muscle mass by helping to promote the buildup of muscle tissue (anabolic conditions). This is because the filaments within the muscle fiber that do the work of contraction are proteins (actin and myosin).

Just as important as your workout plan, if not more so, will be your diet. You will have to eat plenty of protein, which is the main building block of muscle. Without protein you will not get big. If you find it hard to get enough from normal food (which is preferred) you can always buy a protein powder. You have to accept the fact that developing a proper routine involves a lot of research and thinking through. All this takes time and you have to be patient. But the patience pays off in the long run. Once you know which routine works for you, then you can focus on the exercises and you need not unnecessarily worry about injuries or results. The initial time invested in the research takes care of that. With a plan in front of you, you know where to focus and how to go about it. There is little lack of motivation and workout becomes enjoyable.

When it comes to bodybuilding, what works for one individual doesn't ever work for the other. You can see this by spending sometime observing builders at your local gym and you will realize that each one of them is performing separate exercises for different rep counts and with different weights in order to tone, sculpt or build different body parts. You most likely ask how you can determine if your natural bodybuilding routine is precisely what it should be in order to achieve massive, steroid-free results. Are you working out with the precise amount of training sets per body part? How about the reps, or rest days between workouts? Is your training intensity significant enough to illicit a natural bodybuilding response?

Apart from that, keep the above-mentioned bodybuilding fundamentals in mind to find the perfect bodybuilding routine that works for you and before long you will be well on your way to attaining that dream body you've always wanted.
