Beautiful Florida Photography
Capture Florida photography in a perfect way by taking a vacation to Florida and its many beaches, state parks, and luscious landscapes! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets by the beachside, children splashing in the salty surf, and tourist rides that boast frequent alligator sightings and other wildlife are all great opportunities to enjoy your Florida photography experience.
Whether your Florida plans are to travel north along the gulf coast on Hwy 19 to the panhandle or south on the Atlantic side enjoying the old and much slower Rte. #1 all the way to Key West, there are quiet beaches and quaint little towns all along the way with their own little known secrets for vacationers who want a relaxing time without the hassle of crowds and lot of noise.
For example, Pass-a-Grille Beach on the gulf coast is located on its own little peninsula at the south end of St. Petersburg Beach. Visitors are given the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the sun. Nearby Fort DeSoto State Park is actually a beach area and was rated as one of the best in Florida, yet tourists keep this area relatively quiet and on weekdays it is rarely overcrowded even during the busier "snowbird" season of November through April.
Florida’s Northern Region
On the opposite side of the state you will find beautiful north Florida beaches and towns to be just as interesting for the avid vacationer and Florida photographer. The northern part of the state is usually less crowded, especially during the cooler winter months as most tourists head for Miami and the many Key Islands farther south.
Jacksonville Beach located in Florida’s northeast corner has miles of white, sandy shores that offer perfect chances for Florida photography and other relaxing activities! In fact the Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier is a quarter-mile long and very popular with the many visitors throughout the year who just want to wet a line or enjoy the views. The pier gives you the opportunity to take an up close look at some of the most beautiful views of the northern Atlantic coast.
Florida’s Southern Region
The beaches and towns in the southern regions of the state are terrific places for Florida photography. Fort Lauderdale has long been a very popular hot spot for cruise ships and party-goers, especially spring breakers, but also boasts a couple of low-key beaches for those who looking for peace and quiet.
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and Hillsboro Beach are perfect examples. Hillsboro Beach offers Florida photographers the perfect opportunity to grab pictures of nesting turtles with Hillsboro Lighthouse, completed in 1907 and marking the northern end of the Florida Reef close by. A quiet beach village located on a barrier island, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea offers charming shops and snorkeling adventures. Are you an underwater photographer? Snorkelers and scuba divers will love the area.
All in all, there are definitely plenty of quiet destinations throughout Florida where a traveler can find an atmosphere of relaxation and a genuinely good time. From the many towns and beaches in the south to the northern coastal shores of Jacksonville Beach or the gulf coast’s panhandle, there are many opportunities to take beautiful Florida photography or just enjoy the sand between your toes.
