Ebook marketing is a fantastic way for people new to internet marketing to get their feet wet without investing to much money into a new venture. It is very much a time expensive strategy but if you do it right - very lucrative.

There are many stories of ebook writers who have gone on to get full publishing deals based on their online books, and that could be you too (if you follow these 3 simple steps).

  1. Do Your Niche Research

Probably the most important part of ebook marketing is the initial niche research. You need to find a group of people who are looking for information and, but also something that it not too much of a crowded niche.

This doesn't mean that you should be looking for a topic that has no products for sale - because that usually means there isn't a market, and you won't make any money.

  1. Do Your Book Research

Once you have a topic (or niche), you need to start researching your idea so that you have all the information that people are looking for. A great place to find out what people are looking for is to join a couple of forums in your chosen niche and ask them the top 5 things that they would like to know (you would be surprised the amount of answers you will get), and they probably won't be what you expected.

Now you know what your potential buyers want to know, all you have to do is find that information and compile it into a book.

This can be done by yourself or you can outsource and find cheap article writers through a freelancing websites.

  1. Learn To Sell

Once your ebook is written the most important part is to learn how to sell. There are a lot of fantastic ebooks available that are not selling as many as they should because the page created to sell them does not do it justice.
