Male enhancement products - both natural and pharmaceutical - have become a huge industry and these products are one of the top selling items online. While over the years many of these products have ranged from at worst outright scams to at best marginally effective, the tide seems to be turning on not only how these products are perceived, but also as to their true effectiveness.

While six or seven years ago, any unscrupulous individual with some web savy could market almost any kind of 'enhancement supplement' and make some money - today the marketplace is different and except for a few exceptions, these sdam products are gone and the remaining products are now made and sold by large companies which actually spend money on research and development, product testing, and actual scientific studies.

One such company is Leading Edge Herbals (also known as SellHealth) which has just completed the first ever clinical study on their flagship product - VigRX Plus. A natural male enhancement product, VigRX Plus is a patented herbal male supplement which contains herbal ingredients like Bioperine, Damiana, Tribulus Terrestris, and several other known aphrodisiacs and libido enhancers.

Recently VigRX Plus completed an exhaustive clinical study which leaves it standing alone as the only herbal male enhancer with a verified clinical trial on humans. The astonishing thing is that the results actually proved that VigRX Plus had proven very effective for the majority of men in the study.

This clinical study was conducted by the same company that did the original clinical study on Viagra from Pfizer Corp. The study was conducted by the research organization Vedic Life Sciences Pvt. LTD, and you can access that full study below.

The clinical study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of VigRX Plus in erectile dysfunction and male sexual health. The study included 75 males between the ages of 25 and 50 and lasted for a period of 84 days. VigRX Plus provided a variety of positive (if not surprising) results which included:

  • 62.82% Increase in ability to maintain erection

  • 59.97% Increase in ability to penetrate partner

  • 22.49% Increase in length and quality of orgasms

  • 71.43% Increase in sexual and intercourse satisfaction

  • 47.00% Increase in sex drive and desire

  • 61.00% Increase in overall sexual satisfaction

Another important finding in this study was that the treatment satisfaction of the patients was also corroborated by their partners.

In other words not only were the patients extremely satisfied with the results achieved when taking VigRX Plus, their partners also reported the same level of satisfaction. More specifically the female partners of the patients reported and 59.97% increase in penetration, dramatically increasing overall satisfaction.

And while partner satisfaction of the VigRX Plus group actually increased during the study, the placebo group actually decreased over the same period.

Probably the most surprising aspect of this human clinical study was not just the fact that this product worked extremely well - but in fact provided more positive results than another well known product tested by the same company - Viagra.

It's estimated that Leading Edge Herbals spent close to 1 million dollars for all stages of this clinical trial, so it remains to see if other natural supplement companies will follow suit and conduct human studies to prove the safety and effectiveness of their products.

In any case, it would seem that natural male enhancement products are gaining more mainstream acceptance, not just from the public - but from the scientific community as well. It should give consumers an extra bit of peace of mind to know that increasingly herbal supplements are providing an alternative to pharmaceutical drugs and that the same results can be achieved - without compromising safety or effectiveness.
