The Slanket, or blanket–with–sleeves is one of those things that you wish was invented decades ago. The Slanket is the ultimate item for lounging around the house and keeping warm in winter months. It is precisely what it means – a blanket with sleeves. You can wrap it around yourself, and keep warm and snug, and move your arms about freely, because there are large sleeves attached. So you can grab the television remote or eat, or do practically anything while keeping your upper body warm.
Slankets are awesome because they are large enough to cover you completely. With a width of 60 inches, and a length of 90 inches, even people over 6 feet can cover up comfortably. I can imagine what you are thinking, it must be really heavy if it is so massive, but the Slanket is actually very light! What makes the Slanket so lightweight is the fact that it is made of 100% polyester microfibers, which makes the blanket very soft and supple indeed. The Slanket is available is a range of colours – from magenta to apricot, chocolate to ruby wine and even special prints such as leopard skin and camouflage battle prints. Slankets are the perfect gift for any adult who wants to lie in comfort and beat the cold.
The Slanket does not just come in one standard size – it even caters for children, with its Kids Slankets range. This blanket measures 44 inches by 66 inches, and comes in a variety of colours too. Now, every member of the family can enjoy their very own Slanket that fits.
Just in case you were wondering if that was all Slankets had up their sleeves (pun not intended), they have also come up with Siamese Slankets. Yes, you guessed correctly, a Slanket that is just like the original, but for two people. There is more than enough fabric to keep both you and your partner covered with 120 inches by 95 inches of super soft material. The only problem with these is that you will have to walk everywhere with your partner like Siamese twins do – a great way to bond during the winter!
Another introduction to the Slanket family is the Travel Slanket. It is more compact and lightweight in comparison to the full size adult Slanket and measures 58 inches by 66 inches – perfect for taking on your holidays. It not only fits in your hand luggage, but you also do not need to buy a blanket on the plane to keep warm.
