Ellis Products is here to help you the grower .If you are looking for an inexpensive but reliable machine ,the Magnum 10 Potting machine just might be the right one for you

The magnum 10 potting machine has proved to be a very reliable machine giving years of service to growers all across North America and the Caribbean islands.

The machine is very versatile, it offers a variable speed elevator reducing wear and extending chain life. The elevator and the in-feed conveyor are synchronized together. IT offers a variable speed pot track. The 10 foot take off conveyor is variable speed .The drill is also variable speed and this eliminates wear on drill bits by turning them at slower R P M. This machine can be set to accommodate your needs and in turn it will maximize your potting production.

The Magnum 10 features L P C or logic programmable controls that enables standard electric motors to be interacted for variable speed. So hydraulic power is not necessary. It is available in 230 volt single or three phase. This machine was the first in the marketplace to offer this type control. Due to this and other reasons a patent was issued back in 1997.

Another important feature is the fact that this machine has about ½ the moving parts as other machines on the market. For this reason down time is kept to a minimum allowing you to be more productive and keeping on a schedule.

Magnum 10 machines are made with an elevator that picks up the soil against the infeed soil conveyor , unlike most traditional machines that take the soil up the back . When you have a soil jam due to a foreign object you don't have to dig the soil out to free it up and you don't have to remove the rear panel as on traditional machines. You just simply hit the reverse switch and the object will usually fall into an unfilled pots. This simplify things so you can continue potting.

Some growers opt to place the machine in a stationary location where as others place the machine on a trailer with a 4 yard incline hopper .The (optional ) 4 yard hopper is also variable speed and can be synchronized with the Magnum 10 using an automatic watering bar to hydrate the soil. This enabling the potting to take place right in the field and moving the plants to the growing beds on aluminum conveyors.
