Coaching and Mentoring Yourself To An Extraordinarily Fulfilled Life.

Any person who understands The Five Fundamental and Fulfillment Needs,

understands that coaching and mentoring yourself to a fulfilled life is relatively

easy.

There are Five needs that all human beings have, just 5. Every single one of us has them.

I call them the Five Fundamental and Fulfillment Needs:

Safety: Comfort, Food, Shelter, Clothing. We all have a need to remain comfortable. On of the hardest things for people is to step out of their comfort zones.

Variety: Fresh, New & Exciting. At the same time that we want safety & comfort, if we were safe all the time we would be bored out of our minds.

We want life to be fun & exciting, we NEED Variety.

Respect: Appreciated, Important, Significant. We all want to feel appreciated & important, don't we?

Relationship: Love, Connection, Belonging. Every person has a need for relationship. Without relationship we would cease to exist.

Life's Purpose: Growth, Realizing one's full potential & Contribution. What's interesting is that everyone meets the first 4, Good or Bad, we find a way to meet these first 4 needs.

But not everyone meets the last need which I call the Fulfillment Need of Life's Purpose.

This is where coaching and mentoring yourself to live a life of purpose becomes critical. Understanding where you are on the Needs Hierarchy will lend you massive insights into your life.

So, what do these needs have to do with money challenges? It's simple. People who have money challenges, often times would rather be safe then successful. Now, this isn't to suggest that this is all people. This is to say, that many people would rather be a little in debt, struggling a bit, and safe, then having to step out of their comfort zone on a daily basis and really see who they are and what they are made of. And, you could be successful, making several hundred thousand dollars a year, and still be in debt, and feel like your struggling. My question for you is: How are you playing it safe in your life? Are you trapped in a Safety/Comfort zone?

Or Maybe I am completely off and this doesn't relate to you at all. The question then becomes: Which need above is driving your daily decisions?

If it's not safety, what is it? Every person has two needs that they value most and 2 needs that are driving their behavior and decisions on a daily basis. (all the needs are driving your behavior, but 2 are predominant). When you understand your needs, coaching and mentoring yourself becomes easy.
