Below are some basic tools and applications an offshore outsourcing business should have.
As an Internet marketer and Remoteworkmate.com administrator, I just want to share these basic tools and web applications that I am using for marketing and organizing files to keep everything else updated. These tools could really help for small and large outsourcing businesses.
• PMS (Project Management System) –
According to Wikipedia, PMS is the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives. Project management system software like Basecamp is an online PMS that is used by small and big businesses worldwide. This is where your company administrator and your client collaborate and manage projects online. Upload, download, send messages between your virtual assistants and your clients. Create different projects by different accounts. Simplify client-employee interaction by using this great web tool.
• GOOGLE DOCUMENTS – Unlike Basecamp PMS, if you want to cut cost on file collaboration within your team, Google Docs is free. But there’s an upload size limit. However, sharing of files is easy, and you can limit their access. Upload Excel, Word or PDF files get the link and share to others.
• EMAIL BLASTER –
Sending bulk email through Google Mail etc is prohibited and will result to your email account suspension. Email blaster, like SendBlaster, is an email marketing software used to send generic email letter to thousands of email addresses. Gather thousands of email address leads by using the below tool. Let thousands of people know about your business deals, ads, and promos using this software. Boost the number of you business sales and potential clients and watch your online business profits increase with the help of this software.
• WEB EXTRACTOR –
Extract targeted company contact data (email, phone, and fax) from web and use it for (b2b) business to business communication. Extract URL, Meta tags (title, desc, and keyword) for website promotion, search directory creation, web research.
Personally I use this software to extract email leads to be used for my email send blasting. You can sort leads by country of your choice.
• GOOGLE CALENDAR –
Some disregard other Google applications but Google Calendar in your Gmail account could really helps you a lot in reminding you on your client’s contract due date. You can set an email or SMS reminder one (1) day after the contract due or customize it with your desired time. Set the schedule reminder monthly weekly or etc.
Google Calendar lessens my time taking down notes or posting a reminder regarding my schedule of events.
Obviously, these things were just the most basic tools for an outsourcing company, but having to know these could give you a head start on your way to increase your online business’ customer satisfaction. Just remember, as an online business owner or employee, being organized and a constant communication with your team and your client are essential values to retain your business success level.
