The reality is it's not that hard to have a website that makes money. The truth is it's not that difficult to have a website that makes money. If you're willing to work at it and follow the right steps then your website will be profitable. If you're prepared to put in the work and follow the right steps then your website will make sales.

However most people believe in overnight internet riches and jump from scheme to scheme hoping to wake up to an overflowing bank account. Let's get real for a second. An internet business is no different than any other business. An online business is the same as any other business.It's going to take commitment and hard work to get it going.

The main difference is a website is a lot less expensive to set up than a store and you're not stuck in the same place during your opening hours. The main benefit is that a website is much cheaper to set up and it's always open to make sales. An internet business allows you the freedom of working when you want to work... but you still have to actually work, but there's still work involved!

The important truth about your website is how to look at your website the right way.

What most business owners (both online and offline) don't realize is that a business is a system. What most people don't realize is that their business is a system. The system isn't that complicated either. The system doesn't have to be that complicated either.

All it has to do is it’s job is simply to:

  1. Attract people to your website (Traffic)

  2. Sell them products or services (Conversion)}

  3. Ensure the clients experience is amazing (Client Fulfillment)

But all you have to do is break down each system into smaller systems the biggest failure online. Personally I find most websites fail in the conversion system of the website. This is where you take website visitors and turn them into clients. But you can fix this by following a simple process. All you do is first provide your visitors with valuable information that they want and then present them with your offer. The secret to this is increasing the feeling of trust in your website visitors, because the biggest barrier to selling online is trust. This is usually easier to do if you can collect their email address and start building a relationship with them. Once you've created that trust all you have to do is put an irresistible offer in front of them. If a person feels a strong enough desire for what you're offering and they trust you then the rest of the sale comes naturally.
