Writing and creating content is one of the top marketing strategies amongst experts. Anyone can do it and it is one of the easiest things you will do for your online/offline business. Your content will attract new visitors and raise your ranks amongst major search engines, but does it make you money? Does it make sales? Traffic alone will not be enough. You need to start writing content that attracts buyers and potential new clients.

Long Tail Keyword Phrases consist of 3 or more words. Experts rarely consider 3 words as ‘long tailed’ and avoid looking at the number of words used, and really focused on how specific the search is. In most cases, these specific searches will return fewer results, but they will convert at a much higher rate. The reason for this is that the user who is conducting the search knows exactly what they want.

So for example, if a user enters the keyword "football jerseys", Google will generate over 99 million results. Now at this stage, it is very difficult to understand what the user is searching for. This is a very broad search and the conversion rate on such terms will very low. Now, if a user enters the search term "Cristiano Ronaldo Portugal Jersey", Google will generate over 30K results (hence smaller amount of competition) and with this type of search, we can conclude that the user knows exactly what he/she is searching for; hence the conversation rate will be much higher. As marketers and as business owners, we want to target the users who know exactly what they are looking for.
