For the nose, ear nose and throat doctors manage disorders of the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses. They are also knowledgeable in proper care of the nose and sinuses, allergy management, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the nose. As for the throat, ear nose and throat doctors manage the diseases of the larynx and esophagus, including voice and swallowing disorders.

If you find yourself suffering from any of the problems mentioned, it is best to see an ear nose and throat doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment. Schedule an appointment at the first onset of the symptoms to prevent serious complications. This will provide enough information to properly evaluate your condition. After getting proper diagnosis, an ear nose and throat doctor will recommend treatments for your condition. At this point, make sure that you ask whatever questions you may have about your condition and what your treatment options are. Also, make sure that you inform your doctor of possible allergies to drug medications. This is to ensure that you will be prescribed drug medications that are right for you. Always take your medications on time and in the right dosage to maximize its effects. Monitor your body for possible side effects. If there are no changes in your condition or you are feeling worse than before, go back for follow-up checkup and report your condition to the doctor.
