How To Speed Up Weight Loss By Eating High-Satisfaction Foods

Losing weight is not an easy thing to do. There are millions of people around the world who are trying to lose weight. The vast majority of them would, regrettably, fail miserably. Piling on excess weight is easy to do. But taking off the excess weight is anything but easy.
If you are overweight, and are trying to lose weight, it is worth knowing that the type of foods you eat does have a great deal of influence on your success or failure.
If you limit your food consumption mostly to high-satisfaction foods, you greatly increase your chances of succeeding in shedding weight. High-satisfaction foods are those foods that keep you feeling satisfied or ‘full’ quickly and long after you have eaten them. Low-satisfaction foods are the exact opposite.
Common examples of high-satisfaction foods include potatoes, fish, oatmeal, whole-meal pasta, steak and baked beans. Researchers have found potatoes to be one of the top-ranking high-satisfaction foods. Fish comes very close.
High-satisfaction fruits include apples, oranges and grapes. A bit lower down the high-satisfaction rankings are foods like whole-grain bread, bran cereal, white rice, brown rice, eggs and cheese.
Low-satisfaction foods include croissant, cake, doughnut, candy bars and potato chips. Unlike high-satisfaction foods, you need to need tons of these before you feel ‘full’. Besides, they contain more fat and less fibre and protein than their high-satisfaction counterparts. Eat such foods only on rare occasions, if you are trying to lose weight.
To help you shed weight faster, eat more of high-satisfaction foods. They contain more protein and fibre, but less fat, than their low-satisfaction counterparts. They make you feel ‘full’ quickly and keep you ‘full’ longer, so you do not need to eat plenty of them.
In addition to eating high-satisfaction foods, look for highly-recommended slimming pills, tablets, capsules and/or teas to assist you get slim even faster. Choose those slimming products that are publicly supported by reputable doctors and other respected medical professionals, as well as having superb user feedback.
