With Father’s Day quickly approaching, now is a good time to think about getting dad, husband, or granddad something to show just how much they are loved and appreciated. If your dad or loved one is among the many men that are hard to shop for, it can be quite frustrating and stressful thinking of the perfect gift to get them. But before you think about getting your loved one yet another tie or "World’s Greatest Dad" t-shirt, think about getting him something that will allow him to get what he really wants: a prepaid card.

A prepaid debit card is very different from a general gift card, as it can be reloaded and used over and over again (online or in any store) with the proper funds placed onto it. Not only can you quickly and easily load money onto the card, but a majority of prepaid debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo can be used all across the world. Additionally, this is a great way to separate personal funds from gift buying funds. For instance, let’s say you plan on giving your husband a prepaid card, now, you are not only giving him all the conveniences and freedom to shop anywhere, but the funds are separate from your bank account/credit cards and is a great way to keep him on a budget (as you can only spend what is loaded onto the card)!

Also, there is nothing more aggravating than buying a gift for someone that is not what they want or need. You could go out and buy dad/husband that tool set, grill set or fountain pen, but if it is not what they want or need, it will quickly and discreetly be tucked away into the land of the forgotten. A prepaid card is able to be used for any wants or needs. How could you go wrong? Dad won’t have any problem using his prepaid debit card for online purchases, at the grocery store, at the ATM, or his favorite restaurant. Additionally, this card can be reloaded for his own personal use at any time, or on another holiday!

Sure, you could get dad that personalized golf ball set that he will probably never use—or you could give him the power to get what he really wants by getting him a prepaid debit card.
