Smartec STC-3009 - New Day/Night camera for small CCTV systems

Smartec product line has supplemented with new analog cameras of STC-3009 series supplied with removable IR cut filter and capable to generate clear images with 540 TV Lines resolution at up to 0,08/0,04 lux of min illumination. This Day/Night camera is supplied with 1/3" SONY Super HAD II CCD, which has improved color rendering, DNR (digital noise reduction, auto gain control, flickerless/backlight compensation. Also presented Day/Night camera enables customer to mount lenses with auto iris controlled by DC or video signal.
Camera of STC-3009 series has Sony SuperHAD II CCD and Sony DSP HQ1 processor enabling Day/Night camera to produce crisp images with 540 TVL in bright, artificial or natural light conditions. In extremely low light conditions STC-3009 utilizes AGC (auto gain control, which increases the signal level at 26 dB.
24-hour video surveillance is provided by removable IR cut filter, which switches security camera between Day/Night modes. With a decrease of illumination level up to 2 lux, IR cut filter is automatically disabled and Smartec Day/Night camera switches from color to b/w mode. Thus STC-3009 can produce color and b/w video at 0.08/0.04 lux respectively.
DNR (digital noise reduction) elimenates noise component of the video information allowing camera to improve video quality even in low light. With DNR new Day/Night camera provides significant disk space saving along with an enhanced visual perception of the video.
STC-3009 settings can be adjusted with DIP-switches on a rear panel of the security camera. It helps installer to adjust camera modes and activate wide range of the functions according to the recent operating conditions. For example, Day/Night camera allows user to activate automatic gain control (AGC), internal sync, flickerless/backlight compensation and electronic shutter.
In the base product configuration new Day/Night camera can operate indoors at temperatures ranging from -10 ° to +50 ° C. For simple camera installation it is recommended to utilize optional wall/ceiling brackets: Smartec STB-C01 and STB-C02. The efficiency of security cameras in low light conditions allows user to use camera for outdoor applications. Depending on temperature, humidity and other factors, the camera must be placed in a thermal housing. For example, Smartec STC-1230S thermal housing features IP66 rating and ensures stable camera operation at temperatures ranging from -40 ° to +50 ° C.
New Smartec camera supports different types of lenses enabling customer to utilize Smartec camera in low light conditions. For example, STC-3009 Day/Night camera can work using varifocal model STL-2712DC or STL-40FFDC lens with fixed focal length. Also new Day/Night camera can operate with lenses with auto iris, controlled by video or DC signal.
