Dooney and Bourke (named after Peter Dooney and Frederic Bourke) started their company Dooney and Bourke (imagine that). The company was created in a pretty large town called Norwalk, Connecticut in 1975. They are well known for their Dooney Handbags and wallets. The Dooney Handbags and wallets are mainly made out of leather, but there are a few products made out of crocodile too. The Dooney Handbags, as well as their other products come in an array of colors and sizes. The most famous Dooney Handbags have the large D for Dooney and B for Bourke imprinted all over the product, so you can't mistaken it for some other designers creativity. The Dooney Handbags are designed for the office girl at heart. They combine a great look with functionality.
A typical Dooney Bag runs at a price of about $300 dollars which is actually a really price, because of the high end quality Dooney and Bourke are known for. You can find many celebrities toting these designer bags all over, and if you don't believe me just pick up a magazine once in a while and you can see for yourself. The Dooney Bag is made with an incredible leather material and stitched too perfection. If you were to find the same quality products that are made with other designers you would notice the price is drastically higher. Not only are the colors and quality great for consumers, but the designers themselves take such pride in their work and really stand behind it, that they have given some of their products including the Dooney Bag a lifetime warranty and the rest of the products come with a year warranty.
Another item that many consumers absolutely love is the Dooney Bucket. The Dooney Bucket is priced at about $140 dollars (which is a very good deal) and it comes with one strap. The Bucket comes in a variety of colors as well and the colors are all named after foods like Bubble Gum and Raspberry. Another item that is really hot right now is the shoulder bag by Dooney and Bourke. It is perfect for going to the beach. It is big enough to put a couple towels, sun screen, magazines, and anything else you may want to fit in there. Or because the bag is so sturdy (yet cute at the same time) you can use it as a school bag for your books and or lap top. One thing you will notice when browsing and or buying Dooney and Bourke products is that they hold true to their classy looks yet they are very durable and can be used for many purposes.
If you are shopping for a sister, mother, friend, girl friend, boy friend, friend, co-worker or really anyone in general you may want to think of making a purchase from Dooney and Bourke. Their products come in zebra print, plaid, nylon, canvas, crocodile printed leather, floral prints, and many others, so there really is a style for everyone.
