Whether you are just on a week end camping trip, or a rugged multi-day trip to some of the most remote parts of the world, the Sherpa 120 Explorer Kit will come in handy. For portable power, wherever and whenever a quality system that works like the Sherpa, you will be ready to go. Here is what is included.
The 27 Watt nomad Solar panel is a lightweight portable solar panel that is made of mono-crystalline technology, which is also weather protective. It also has a carrying case, a pocket that is built in so put the connection cord into,and it folds up. There are also three aluminum poles that help support the panel when you need to face it in a certain direction. And there is a LED lighting system so you know when it is charging.
Not only do you get a solar panel, but also a powerful 120 Sherpa Power Pack, which produces up to 120 watt hours of power. And a battery cycle of 3,000 and the equivalent output of 70,000 AA batteries. You can also link up 3 more battery packs to produce even more power, which is perfect for larger groups or more electronics or both. And because it is weather protected, you can take this system anywhere. Additionally, with a charge controller you can be sure not over blow fuses, plugs, or anything else. There is even a indicator LED to help you monitor you power storage. There are also adapters for DC, AC, and USB and a included Inverter.
If that isn't enough, you also get the Estrella 3Watt light, and the Sherpa Universal Inverter as well. The Estrella has a powerful 3watt LED bulb, which is 140 lumens, as bright as a regular 45 watt incandescent bulb, and is rated for up to 20,000 hours of continuous usage. It has a full 140 degree viewing angle, as well as a 15" bendable cord, and even another 9" cord, with a carabiner that allows you to put it anywhere. It can be used with the Sherpa power pack or any other 12volt power source, and this product can also be chained together with up to 12 other Estrella lights.
The Sherpa 100 Watt Universal Inverter comes with the ability to use and international and standard outlet prong plug without the need to purchase more adapters. This inverter also can change from 110 to 220 volts quickly and be connected into your car's cigarette port.
The explorer kit also comes with 12 volt male and female adapters, all the accessories, and a AC wall adapter for charging as well. The entire kit sells for under $900 and that is considerable low for everything that is included. Some solar panel systems cost $800 just for the panel. You could possibly pay over thousands dollars for the light, inverter, solar panels, and battery pack.
