This is a fantastic new Twitter tactic I just found and needed to share with everybody.
I'm assuming that you actually know that network marketing relies on these 2 elementals. 1) You have to generate traffic that's aimed at whatever your niche is. 2) You have got to send that traffic to your nerve center by promising something valuable. OK, almost everyone in internet marketing knows this. What they do not know is HOW to do this.
There are many ways to drive traffic. In this piece we'll be targeting social media. More specifically|More precisely, we're taking a look at Twitter.
What makes Twitter such a great option? There are 2 reasons. 1) It's free. Who doesn't love that? 2) The information is widely available to anyone who wants to use it.
Finding Followers
Once you decide on using Twitter as a marketing technique, you've got to find the correct folk. There are two ways to try this.
-
- Follow the people who are following other people with in your niche. There's a reason they are following the industry leaders. They need to learn. You can help them learn. A large amount of people are aware of this.
2 - Do a search on Twitter for folks who mention your targeted keywords. It's the box on the right side of the screen approximately halfway down. This search function is not as well known or used.
Twitter is about socializing and folks use it to hook up with others. When you discover the people you need to hook up with, follow them. Generally, they'll follow you back.
Of course, you're using Twitter as a marketing tool, but if that is your single focus, you will fail. The results with Twitter (and frankly any kind of marketing will greatly increase if you make a connection. Do not just follow people. Send them an e-mail to introduce yourself to them, (but don't talk about your business).
If you pitch your network business to them on your 1st "meeting", they'll ignore you. If the idea of not introducing your network marketing business seems crazy, you have to spend some time finding out about Attraction Marketing.
Remember, the internet marketing world is about people. It doesn't matter how or where you are finding your leads, it is about developing a relationship with people. In the strategy we're discussing, you are just starting to build the relationship before they really become leads.
Find a way to make a personal connection when you start to follow them :
-
Comment on a recent tweet
-
Talk about something in their profile you found interesting
-
Say something about similar interests you share
-
Be funny
Your goal is that when they see your next Tweet pop up, they'll feel like they already know you. Do not forget... Don't introduce your business to them right off the bat or they will ignore you.
How To Get Content For Your Fans
This is probably the part you've likely not heard before. You don't necessarily have to create the content yourself. You can find other posts that will be engaging and relevant to people in your niche. A couple of good sources to find these are alltop.com or popurls.com. You can also use article directories, etc.
Then put the link in your nerve center, but do not simply make it a page full of links. Again, you should make it more personal. There are a minimum of 2 sentences you ought to use to lead into the link. 1) Tell your audience what you enjoy about the article. The more precise you are, the better. 2) Tell them what you like about the author.
By providing content that's valuable and handy to your audience, you are turning into a source of good info for them. By giving them quality recommendations you are becoming a professional and a authority to them.
If you provide your Twitter supporters quality info (that they can find on your internet site), your website visitors will be really focused and fascinated by your niche. If your internet site has a high-quality opt-in offer, you'll capture some of these visitors to your list.
Conclusion
It basically boils down to this :
-
Find fans
-
Build a connection with them
-
Link them to your site by providing valuable content
-
Capture their e-mail with your opt-in offer
I found this new approach refreshing and a little bit different from the rest I have read.
