"Monster Plumbing College" is our one of a kind (in Africa) training platform where we get to employ the cream of the crop, after training them with the workplace in mind. Qualified plumbers are in major short supply worldwide. The average age of a qualified plumber in South Africa is 55 years of age. There has been hardly any skills development / skills transfer taking place in the last 20 years. The skills transfer problem has led to a big gap in the Construction Industry and has resulted in large numbers of unqualified individuals flooding the market. The ultimate effect on the consumer is non-compliant work and the consequences thereof. The training platform allows us to reduce technician error and train our staff to be compliant with S.A.N.S (South African National Standards). Our training facilitator is a subject matter expert and has completed all the compliance requirements up to NQF-4 level (Incl. Solar geysers). We are PIRB licensed, and IOPSA registered. Our Training facility is a CETA (Construction Education & Training Authority) accredited facility.

"Wilson Plumbing Supplies" is a dedicated plumbing supplies entity situated in our building. Our vehicles are stocked daily and technicians place their orders at the supplies counter daily to minimise driving around searching for spares. "Wilson Plumbing Supplies" provides a range of specialised rental equipment required by the technicians including drain cameras, Jack hammers, jetting machines, drain machine & cleaners.

"Monster Marketing" is an in-house printing and marketing department which manufactures Monster marketing products and distributes them via thousands of strategic retail outlets. The department also caters for all our vehicles branding and signage requirements. The department is a money saving tool for the entire group of companies. Monster Marketing also has all the equipment that serves our in-house office automation requirements.

"Monster Call centre & Logistics management" is a 24 hour concern, taking care of our clients day and night. All jobs on a national level are booked through our call centre for maximum control. A one of a kind, custom developed software program is used to automate all transaction paper trail, and a separate call centre program caters for all relevant tasks.

"Monster Administration" cross examines all transactions on a national level and captures all these transactions onto the administration system. All banking , payments, performance reports and management accounts are generated and exported into Pastel for Management account purposes. Our full time externally based accountant takes care of all accounting related matters including Payroll, tax, VAT, U.I.F, S.D.L and all other government related accounting responsibilities. Investor accounts and payments are generated from this department.

"Monster Investments" advertise the opportunity of investment and service all the investors on our panel. This department generates private funding in order to bypass the banking system and the linked interest charges that go along with their funding offering. This makes provision for private individuals, to manage their own financial destiny by wealth creation in the much needed "necessity based" plumbing industry. We do not give general financial advice but we can guarantee our investors an above average growth of their money. The main focus for this department is to invest the capital into strategic commercial properties, vehicles, specialised equipment, training centres, and intellectual property. This will mobilise the "Monster Brand" in all the cities of South Africa and on an international level. Each investor will have direct ownership of a trade region and an active business model generating income. The performance reports of said region / model can be screened every month to monitor the actual investment. There will be provision made for investors to log into the reports system on the website and view their reports online.

INDUSTRY

The plumbing industry (both nationally and internationally) requires thousands and thousands of plumbers. Some statistics have been released from the United Kingdom & Australia. During 2009 these two countries required over 29 000 qualified plumbers. The demand is only on the increase based on the new generation of men who are more inclined to getting an office based job rather than a toolbox and a trade behind their names. The statistics are being broadcast across the world in the hope of obtaining more young individuals who are interested in becoming tradesmen (plumbers / builders / electricians etc.) The career choice of a plumber (self employed) is possibly already a more lucrative decision than for example, becoming a doctor or an accountant. In South Africa alone we have spans of work ahead of us to transform our rural areas into sanitation safe areas. Areas that need to be addressed include community sanitation, storm water systems, non-functional sewage farms - the list is very long. The fact that our current, qualified South African plumber is at an average of 55 years of age leaves us with an enormous gap to fill if just to see to the URGENT skill transfer that needs to occur. Monster Plumbing intends to establish a training facility at each branch we open in the future. In the light of the above, the need speaks for itself. Worldwide, the industry needs to expand at a rapid rate in order to make up for the backlog. Looking at the growth rate of the Building Industry internationally, one can quickly surmise that the work flow isn’t going to stop at anytime soon.

The industry, in a nut shell, can be described as widely as the following: "if you need to use the toilet, you are a client...." - it is a necessity business.

Monster Plumbing is a pioneer in plumbing industry. Offering professional plumbing services, plumbing training throughout South Africa.
