It is easy to tell how much a person is really in control of himself, just look at the way he displays his anger. Anger is one in the list of emotions that when on display shows how much a person is really in control of himself. A second thing about controlling anger is it is also one of the ways that shapes how the world around you will determine how it is going to respond to you in return.

Uncontrolled anger when it is really hot is dangerous. In the majority of cases where it is used it often tends also to lead to even more anger. Another response to anger is controlled anger, this kind of anger is often used to help when resolving difficulties. Truthfully, if it were not because of anger there would be situations where you would not be motivated to get something wrong that needs fixing fixed.

Soon you will be able to jump over the walking away step. Instead another skill will go in its place. Also it does not take long to do this. Eight weeks time is enough to see changes.

Until that time, keep anger from infiltrating your affairs. Do this by slowly counting and walking away. First count to ten, then twenty if you have to. You just need to keep counting until you feel relaxed again. You will not have to count up to to 200 though. By the time you get to ten if you do it right you will be calm.

When considering long term solutions, begin by taking the time on a daily basis to deliberately relax yourself. Controlling anger problems gets done faster when you de-stress and think about the things that please you. Trust me this will take a lot of the passion out of your anger.
