Having got up early to catch your flight and then managed to find your transfer from the airport to your chalet, on arrival at your holiday destination, all you will want to do is relax with a glass of wine. And why not, it has been a long day and you have got an action packed week ahead.
Come the next morning, it's up early to catch the first lift for a hard day on the slopes. Heading over to La Tania is a nice gentle warm up for the week. Remember, those legs haven't been skiing for a year so they need to remember how it's done!
Tuesday's skiing is perhaps a good opportunity to head over to Meribel and do the famous Mont Vallon run. A long open red run from the highest peak in Meribel which from Courchevel should take all morning but is well worth it.
After your day skiing you can come back to your chalet and enjoy the afternoon tea that your chalet host has prepared for you. Snuggle up to the log fire with a cup of coffee or vin chaud and ease those tired limbs back to life. Having spent 7 hours on the slopes, you will need a hearty meal to give you enough energy for another long day tomorrow. Fortunately, Powder White's fully catered holidays offer is a 4 course meal with complimentary wine.
Courchevel offers an array of apres ski bars and nightclubs for guests to enjoy. So if you have the stamina, Rockys bar, the bubble bar and Kalico bar in Courchevel 1650 provides live music on Wednesday nights.
This will also be your staff night off, and gives you a chance to eat at any of the superb restaurants available in Courchevel. They range from traditional Savoyard style menus all the way up to Sushi restaurants in 1850.
Those with 3 valley ski passes, have the option to head over to Val Thorens, Les Menuires and even the 4th valley. From Courchevel, this is a long ski and should take you all day to get there and back.
On Friday, after another superb meal at your chalet, there are a number of bars which play live music and stay open to small hours. So if you still have the energy after a long week, you can hit the dance floor to finish off a memorable week!
