Choosing the perfect destination for an upcoming vacation can be a difficult task. With so many countries and places to choose from, you might be overwhelmed by the sheer number of options available. But if you want to ensure you choose one place that won’t disappoint, consider Greece, a magnificent country that borders the tantalizing Mediterranean Sea.
Greece, located on the Southern end of the European continent, is one destination not to miss. Here, you can relax and enjoy all that Europe has to offer, in a romantic and awe-inspiring location. And getting to this piece of paradise is so easy that there’s no excuse not to put this charming country on your next itinerary. Flights arrive around the clock from just about any European country, Russia and the Middle East. In fact, its relatively close location to such countries as Egypt and Israel make it a perfect addition to any holyland tours excursion. And when traveling within the country, you’ll marvel at this simplicity and ease of getting from place to place. Buses crisscross the country and if planning a short stopover on one of the many Greek islands, simply board one of the convenient ferries that sail the blue-green waters of the Mediterranean.
If planning a trip in the summer, you’ll enjoy endless days and nights of clear blue skies with rather warm temperatures. But if you can only get away during the winter months, don’t fret. Greece still offers temperate winter weather where you can still bask in the sunlight along the Mediterranean.
When choosing your Greek itinerary, make sure to include the ancient city of Athens. Here, you’ll relic in the past like never before. Explore the wonders and sites at Akropolis Hill, which won’t cease to amaze.
If you’re searching for additional city life, continue on to Thessaioniki, Greek’s second largest city. In Thessaioniki, you’ll explore ancient sites by day and modern club life at night, which equals any nightlife in the world.
But if island hopping is what you desire, take a ferry ride to island of Rhodes. Here, you’ll bask on pristine beaches where you can enjoy endless hours of snorkeling in shimmering blue-green waters.
Greece is the next best thing to paradise.
