The patients affected with esophageal cancer and the patients who are given treatment for cancer should be given foods with certain restrictions. It is the responsibility of the care taker of the esophageal cancer patients to select and prepare foods for them. The food that they prepare should be easy to swallow and digest for the patients as well as healthy.
This is because the health and energy levels of the patients has to be maintained well and the food given to them must provide good resistance and energy to them. Foods prepared using micro wave can be easy to cook and still the foods prepared can be healthy. The bowl of soup, smashed potatoes can be cooked using micro wave. The foods can be baked, sautés or roasted without using butter, ghee etc. the olive oil, canola oil etc can be used as a cooking aid and other seasonings.
