Many people today are struggling with food problems and wondering if there is a cure for food allergies. They may be able to cause these symptoms to decrease and disappear by making some simple changes to their diet.

In an earlier article I described how our bodies produce acid waste which gets stored in our bodies if it is not eliminated.

Unless we counteract this by drinking alkaline water and eating foods that are predominantly alkaline then our bodies can become over-acidic. When that happens toxins are produced in our bodies. These toxins can cause us to feel tired and produce allergy symptoms.

The toxins cause stress to our immune systems and cause us to become sensitive to certain chemicals and foods. The results of this include irritation and inflammation, hay fever, allergenic asthma and food allergies.

If our bodies become too acidic they will try to eliminate acid toxins which creates problems such as soreness, swelling, watery eyes, runny nose and eczema.

If you eliminate the toxins in your body then the allergy symptoms will disappear. This is the cure for food allergies.

There are ways that you can test whether your body is overacidic. The acid/alkaline scale is from 1-14, with 7 being neutral and the optimum pH level for us is just over 7 ie around 7.3-7.4. The way to test yourself is to check your urine using pH strips, which can be obtained from a Pharmacy or from tropical fish retailers.

The best time to use them is in the morning. Acids or alkalines cause the strips to change colour, the optimum colour being light green.

If the test result is acidic then it's time to examine your diet and start drinking alkaline, ionised water and increase your intake of vegetables, including green, leafy vegetables. This will help to eliminate toxins in the body. Raw foods, including salads, sprouted seeds and beans, are good because cooking destroys some of the nutrients.

We can speed up the process of transforming our bodies from acidic to alkaline by drinking vegetable juice aswell. They have the advantage that the nutrients, vitamins, minerals and enzymes are assimilated more easily and quickly. Put a variety of vegetables into the juice but include plenty of green vegetables as they are highly alkalising.

However, keep fruit juices to a minimum as they are high in sugar content

If you follow these steps you should experience an increase in well-being and energy levels and your allergy symptoms should decrease and disappear. You will find that there is indeed a cure for food allergies.
