Everyone can improve their life one day at a time no matter where you are in life and what you are doing, how you are feeling about life, and where you are heading towards.

Our lives can become stagnant and we end up doing repetitive tasks day in and day out and spend some of that time wondering why we are not going anywhere else in life and if our dreams are just nonsense that we will never reach.

Life is meant to live and when you stop living and just keep doing the same things over and over again your life can become quite boring and lack goals, desire, and direction.

The way to improve your life is to move forward towards your goals and desires every single day - one step at a time.

Picture your goals and desires as an object at the top of a set of stairs. When you try to jump too many stairs at one time you can trip up and fall backwards. When you take one step forward and then one step back it can become impossible to climb the whole set of stairs. If you do this enough times you may just give up on walking up those steps altogether thinking that you will always trip up and fall back down a step.

But if you climb the stairs one step at a time you will have time to get a really good foothold on that step and be able to step up to the next one.

Each step represents something that you need to do to get closer to your goal and if you take these steps one day at a time then you will have an extremely high success of getting to where you want to go.

Of course you have to know what you are trying to climb towards before you can even start climbing. And this can also be done by the one thing a day rule.

For example if you don't know what you want to do next in life start learning about different things to do. Then when one resonates to you as something you would love to be doing - go for it! Take the time to learn about what you like and what interests you and what gets you going in life and you will find many things that you will love to do and work towards.

I personally try to learn one new thing a day whether it pertains to my goals or not. I find that this helps me put reasons behind why I feel certain ways about the things I have in my life which gives me a better understanding of who I am as a person.

So if you find that you can never reach your goals and you just keep falling back down try taking smaller steps and make sure you master each step before moving on. And remember, do it one day at a time.
