If the customer is not interested in your proposal, the cards will most likely be dropped to the ground, which is fine because they are drop cards! There is always a steady stream of traffic to gas pumps so there are plenty of opportunities for another customer to see it and pick it up. Someone will pick up the card and take it with him sometime during the day. It's a strategy that can't lose.

Now you see how you will want to go to the gas station more than you are going now; you can even go to more than just your usual gas stations. Then your drop cards can be placed in several different gas stations around the city. Make sure that you place cards in more than just the one pump that you use to make this effort turn viral. You can also, if you know the people who own the gas station, place your cards on the inside of the store. Take some time to consider where you think this strategy would work, then you will have even more places to spread them around.
