Weston Super Mare is ideally located as a centre for venturing out and exploring the West Country. If you haven't already visited the West Country Weston makes an ideal location for a short break, day out or even longer holiday for the whole family. Getting to Weston is simple as it is just 2 miles off junction 21 of the M5 motorway and is also serviced by a main line rail connection.

It offers quality entertainment for every member of the family however choosy they may be. The seafront promenade has recently undergone extensive renovation and now boasts a modern and stylish appearance.

The Grand Pier is totally brand-new as in 2008 it was totally destroyed by fire. However, being a main attraction for the town it has gained major priority and quickly rebuilt and now looks really fantastic as well as being one of the most modern piers in all of Europe.

You'll find really clean and lovely beaches at Weston which comprise of golden sands. If you come by car you can drive and park directly on the beach as it is more than a mile in length.

The Bristol Channel however has one of the highest tides in the world which means the sea can often be more than a kilometre away making swimming difficult. If you want to swim try using Weston Marine Lake which offers safe bathing at all times.

It's great for the children as the beach is deep and very spacious meaning you can be amongst the crowds if you wish, or find a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed if that's what you desire. The beach keeps up the old English tradition of donkey rides, and has lots of entertainment available for the young ones such as sand sculptures and you will not have to walk too far to get an ice cream or hot dog.

Weston also boasts a wide range of food choices from a simple cafe or fast food bar to quality restaurants for fine dining. You will also find a good selection of evening entertainment for the whole family.
