I'm guessing that you've heard of HIIT, even if you didn't actually recognize it for what it is.

I'd like to talk to you today about what exactly HIIT is and how you can apply it to your training in order to lose fat as quickly as possible.

The first thing we should make sure we understand is that HIIT is an acronym for High Intensity Interval Training. Now, what it does for you is totally eradicates fat on your body through a unique combination of interval training and extreme intensity (crazy, right?). The reason that this technique works so unbelievably well is because it makes it so that your muscles never have a chance to totally recover. Because you're only training in intervals you'll find that your able to exercise hard without getting as worn out.

If it's easier to understand, just think of this type of training as sprints.

So an example of HIIT if you wanted to apply it to running would be to go to a track and sprint 100 meters. After the sprint you'll go ahead and walk (at a brisk pace) the rest of the track before repeating the next time around. You could do about 5 of those, just make sure that you sprint as hard as you can!

If you adjust the amount of time that you sprint for then you can apply this exact technique to just about any method of activity. Let's suppose that you wanted to try your hand at HIIT biking... You'd want to cycle hard for 1 minute, then probably a good time to rest would be 3 minutes. You could do about 6 of those probably.

Maybe you've got a row machine? You would probably want to do 30 or 45 seconds of running hard, followed by 2 or 3 minutes of resting. The reason that you can sprint longer and rest less when you're biking/rowing is because they're less intensive on your body.

You should be able to start losing fat pretty quickly if you do these 3 or so times a week... Simply keep in mind that HIIT works better the harder you sprint.
