A woman's origin plays little part in what is common to all ladies - love for romance. Russian women might be the ones who see it the least, but they are definitely able to appreciate it the most. Whether you are dating online and are thousands of miles apart, meeting for the first time, or are already planning your life together, doing something little special for your sweetheart will make her fall in love with you all over again.

While dating online

It might be difficult to bring romance into your woman's life every day if you are half way across the world from each other; however, it is not hopeless. Many dating agencies and independent companies will offer gift and flower delivery services, but you can also find ways to do something on your own.

• If you want to surprise and impress your Russian woman - write her a poem, or even a sweet letter telling her why you love her so much. This simple gesture is bound to touch her heart.

• Have a photo specialist merge separate photos of you and your sweetheart into a single romantic collage - what better way is there to make both of you crave a personal meeting and fuel the desire to see each other as soon as possible?

• When you see something beautiful (i.e. a pretty sunset, a picturesque view, etc.) - take a picture of it to send to your Russian lady. This way you can let her know you are missing her, and she, in turn, will be able to feel like she is sharing some of your life even at a great distance.

• If you think that fate has deprived you of being romantic, you can always settle for the gifts, already selected and offered by the online dating agencies or gift agencies. Flowers, stuffed toy, a bottle of wine, a box of candies or jewelry - these are just a couple options available for giving through the gift services.

Once you have met

• It is not necessary to bring a suitcase full of things (unless, of course, you want to!) for your first meeting. However, it is advisable that you bring something special for your first meeting. It will be more memorable, if it is something from your home country, or - if you have gotten very close during your correspondence - something of yours, to share a part of yourself with her.

• Naturally, your first meeting should be memorable, and it is plain good manners not to come empty handed. Even if you haven't brought anything from home for her, you can always correct the situation with flowers, a box of candy, or a bottle of wine. But if you truly want to make it unforgettable - make is a bit unique: a customized flower arrangement, unusual packing, etc.

• If your meeting was successful, and you have decided to pursue your relationship, you should consider leaving something special for your Russian sweetheart before you leave the country. It can be a photo of you two, something special she will remember you by, or simply something sweet you know she would like.

Once she has traveled to your country

• There might come a time when your Russian lady gets homesick. A great idea would be to take her somewhere that would make her feel like her home. Taking her to a Russian restaurant (or something that has similar cuisine) is a great idea.

• Organize a romantic picnic, or prepare a home cooked dinner for her. It will be a pleasant alternative to regular eating out, and it will show your Russian bride or wife that you have gone an extra mile for her - any woman will appreciate such gesture.

• Many Russian women enjoy art or are fond of it. Taking your woman to theater, an exhibit, or some other art event might be a great way to spend a day together. Combine that with a cozy lunch in some quiet caf?, and you will be guaranteed a perfect date.

• For a truly romantic evening set up a lot of candles (but be careful with selecting a smell - anything too strong might not be enjoyable), use some flowers or flower petals to cover the floor of your bedroom, or even adding in a bath. Don't forget to switch off the phones so your conversation and time together is not interrupted.

Note: if your sweetheart has children, or lives with her family, do not forget to treat them to something sweet and special once in a while. They do not have to be big gifts, but remembering her family, their birthdays, or some other personal calendar dates will speak louder than words and show your Russian lady that you have serious intentions.

Whatever the reason, or the occasion for making a gift or surprising your Russian sweetheart, make sure that it comes straight from your heart and that you enjoy giving it - your lady will feel it and it will not go unnoticed.
