Building a team full of different personality types will mean that you will need to present it differently to different people. How your upline will tell you to present the business opportunity will only be right for one segment of the population. There have been found to be four primary personality types and the best thing that you can do is have a separate message for each. The personality types can overlap in some people, but they are a good guide into the type of presentation you should be offering to each person.
Now for the first personality type, fire. Fire is the type that network marketing companies have in mind when they prepare their presentations. It would be great to build a team full of fire personalities, but this is unrealistic and the other personality types are capable of performing well in a multi-level marketing business, too, so you don't want to leave them out. But the mlm companies in their sales letters and in their presentations will begin by discussing the lifestyle you can lead if you join their businesses. The business is so secondary to the lifestyle that it is never discussed by some companies. What is wrong with this?
There is nothing wrong with this tactic if you are talking to a fire personality and they are definitely one type of person with whom you want to build a team. These people are quick to make decisions because they don't need to hear too many details, so you do not need to go into the intricacies of the business; they are ready to make a decision quickly. They are independent, so the fact that mlm businesses offer an independent lifestyle is something that you will want to bring up to them. One trait that fire types have is that they are persistent when they want to accomplish something which is something that will help them succeed in network marketing. They are also in search of new and different challenges which you can remind them is part of network marketing. The fire types are not intimidated by a changing atmosphere so they would enjoy a network marketing business for this reason, also.
It is obvious so far that when you are building a team you will want to have fire personalities on it. But, there are even more ways than those listed that fire types are a positive for network marketing. They have the need to make achievements regularly and they also have the need to compete against other people. Network marketers are notorious for awarding teams bonuses for various contests such as selling the most products. There are also prizes for the person who sells the most individually. Several cars, BMWs and Mercedes-Benz to name a few, have been given to these people in the past. Some companies give away great vacations to destinations such as Bora Bora and Hawaii. This is a fact that you will have to tell your fire types to get them interested in your business.
Network marketing companies always tell you that you need to set goals and this comes naturally to the fire type because they are extremely goal-oriented. The upline always tells their members to ask prospects what their goals are. When you ask this of a fire type you will undoubtedly get a detailed answer. Obviously, it seems that network marketing was made for fire personalities and building a team full of them is something to aspire to.
It is a great idea to learn about personality types before you begin to building a team. Learn more about how to do this for your network marketingbusiness by visiting expert network marketer A. D. Kellon's website.
