Currently we are gearing our sales presentation to the water type personality. Where you had easily decisive people in the fire and wind personalities, now you have the indecisive with the water types. Everybody can't be easy to convince. This is the time that the product your business promotes and the business opportunity will have to be explained in detail. There are more traits that it would be a good idea to understand before you do a presentation with a water type.
We can describe the water type as wishy-washy because they have such a hard time making up their minds. They appear to be wimps because they find confrontation to be so unpleasant; for this reason they will back away from a fight to keep the peace. They will admit to being wrong only to prevent a conflict from arising. This might seem like an easy person to deal with, but this is the type of person who will not fight when they need to so you will have to expect your water types to give up easily when the going gets tough. In that case, they are going to need a lot of training so they can make an effective sales presentation.
A sales presentation with water types will mean that you will point out the fact that your products and the business opportunity help people which is what water types like to do. If your water types believe that their personality is not conducive to being a good salesperson you can remind them that they are helping people solve a problem. Also remind them that you are there to help them as long as they need it until they are comfortable making presentations by themselves. It will be important to let them know that you are in it for the long haul with them as long as they are with your business.
The water types that you know, those in the helping professions, are good for doing a sales presentation with because as water types they will want to help others. They are usually typical water types. Water types fear change, so it is advisable to make sure you let them know that their business will belong to them and no one else. They do not have to be afraid of losing this job because as long as they want it they will have it; it's up to them. Because they have control of the entire business they should feel much better about it.
There are points in which the water types will need some help from you, but they are not typically the neediest people around. All you will have to do is show them what it takes to be successful in this business because they enjoy being helpful to others and they don't like to be micro-managed. People who like to help other people would make a great addition to a network marketing business because they will take such good care of their downlines. When you perform your sales presentation you will have to make sure to strengthen the water's strengths and weaken their weaknesses.
