If you are involved in MLM then you probably already know you will only earn an income from two activities, selling and recruiting.
This may go against the grain a bit, but it's not just the company and products that this industry is about. New folks joining are probably joining because they are wanting to work directly with you and the company may be of little importance in their minds. So you need to know how to market yourself as an authority in the industry.
Following are some lessons that I learned from personal experience that will help you sponsor more people into your business,
Don't be a babysitter to your downline -
This is VERY important. When I first got started in this industry I was keen(as we all are_) for my team to do well, but that should not mean being at their every beck and call. I quickly found myself becoming tied up with technical and silly questions. Whilst I wanted to help my team succeed I found that my time was being taken away from my number 1 producing activity and that is, sponsoring. I quickly learned that the best way to overcome this problem without fobbing off my team was to do things in a group session, so I began to hold team training webinars on a regular basis. There's no doubt it works, feedback from my team was incredible plus it was far more efficient use of my own time. You must use this philosophy in your business. Take advantage of group trainings.
Outsource as much as possible -
It's often difficult to let go of personal control. I still experience this problem myself, I often like to do as much as I can myself, I have high standards of competency and sometimes struggle to let go. But on the other hand I don't want to be spending time doing the 'dirty work' which someone else could do. The reality is that there are outsource workers from around the world who are crying out for a chance to work for three dollars an hour! In my opinion its best to start using outsourcers as soon as its viable, even from day one of your business if it's possible This will free you up to concentrate on that all important sponsoring.
Be teachable
It does not matter who they are, but everyone who has been successful in the mlm industry has had a teacher who is more knowledgeable than them. I don't think that we will ever stop learning and there is always something new that we don't yet know. To be a top producer you need to be taught by a top producer, it really is that simple!
Bring in unlimited leads
Something that every MLM marketer needs is leads, and lots of them! It's a fact that lead poverty is a massive problem for many people in the MLM industry. It's quite likely your upline has taught you the traditional methods of marketing your business, such as cold calling, warm prospecting, friends & family, 3 foot rule etc.... Many a great downline has been built on these marketing techniques but for the average Joe, it just doesn't work. Society as a whole has developed a resistance to such tactics, plus most people just simply hate pestering people like that anyway. So you need to attract leads to YOU instead. By using the principles of attraction marketing and using an automated sales funnel you have massively boost your success levels.
