ValvTechnologies Inc. is a valve provider for use in many business sectors including oil and gas, petrochemicals, mining and minerals, refining, pulp and paper, and power generation. Since 1987, when ValvTechnologies first opened its doors, we have been providing superior products and services in the Houston-area and beyond. Texas is the land of the oil king, so it makes sense that our headquarters are located in Houston, Texas. In 1987, ValvTechnologies first started doing business in the Houston-area. Our quality products and friendly customer service put us in high demand and since then we have grown to employ over 500 people and have operations in the United Kingdom, Mainland Europe, China, the Middle East and South America.
At ValvTechnologies we understand that your projects in refining, oil and gas and power generation are tough environments and you need a product that is going to perform and stand up to the elements. At ValvTechnologies we have an unprecedented "Zero-Leakage Guarantee" on all of our valves. ValvTechnologies defines zero leakage as no detectable leakage of gas or a liquid for a period of three minutes or greater. The valve must not leak after multiple cycles and must exhibit zero leakage at various pressure conditions — from vacuum to full-rated pressure. More traditional valve manufacturers have published acceptable leakage rates, even when brand new. At ValvTechnologies, we will not ship a valve unless it shuts off completely. We test every valve made according to ASME / ANSI standards (MSS SP-61, ANSI Class V), then we toughen the standard to 100 percent shut-off (zero bubbles) and attach our signed and witnessed test report to every valve we ship. With this kind of quality control, ValvTechnologies’ valves last longer and reduce maintenance and operation costs.
ValvTechnologies produces some of the finest valves in the world including seat supported ball valves, trunion ball valves, parallel slide gate valves, pressure relief systems, control and check valves and more. In fact, ValvTechnologies valves are of such high-quality that we have recently been awarded the contracts on some very important projects. ValvTechnologies was recently awarded a major project to supply isolating valves to Aberthaw Power Station which is owned and operated by RWE npower in the United Kingdom. The new valves will be used in the feed water system of the power plant. This order of 24 valves marks a significant achievement for ValvTechnologies as there have been three major feed water isolation projects in the UK within the last three years and ValvTechnologies has been awarded all three. ValvTechnologies is also going to the 2014 Olympics! We recently received an order from our Russian distributor, Energomash, to manufacture steam valves for the new Gazprom Adler Combined Heat and Power Station (CHPS) in Sochi, Russia. Sochi is a resort town near the Black Sea and the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The valves are safety relief valves installed on the boiler with a manual override. They will be used in a similar fashion as ValvTechnologies’ isolation Electronic Relief Valve (ERV) which utilizes electronic controls to relieve system pressure, when necessary. Gazprom chose ValvTechnologies valves because of their history of reliability and dependability.
ValvTechnologies has been a leader in valve design and production for over 20 years. We take the production of each of our valves seriously because we know that your projects are important. Plus, we love what we do. ValvTechnologies has been a factor in some of the biggest projects around the world and we can help you too. Whether you need seat supported ball valves, trunion ball valves, parallel slide gate valves, pressure relief systems, control valves, check valves, total valve management or machine and welding services, ValvTechnologies is here to meet all your needs.
