Premature ejaculation (PE) is very common among the male population. PE affects a massive 25 of men in the United States alone and most men experience PE at least once in their lives.

So what is PE? Premature ejaculation is when a male frequently ejaculates before he or his partner are ready.

What causes premature ejaculation? The causes of PE are not yet known by doctors, they believe that there are 2 main factors that contribute to the issue.

  1. Psychological i.e. the person is stressed has anxiety, nerves and in some cases even guilt.

  2. Biological i.e. abnormal hormone or thyroid problems can also play a contributing factor.

In most cases premature ejaculation is associated with psychological issues, especially if you have not always had this issue.

Am I suffering from PE?

While there are no benchmarks for how long a man should take to ejaculate there are still many questions to ask yourself to better evaluate if you are climaxing too fast for your sexual partner.

Have you ever climaxed before penetrating your partner?

Or have you just climaxed before wanting to?

Do both you and your partner get to climax?

Are you both fully satisfied after you engage in intercourse?

If you answered any of the above question negatively please read on!

What are the treatments available?

Unfortunately there are very few treatments available that may help.

Desensitizing creams are one solution, but let’s be honest having to stop during an intimate moment with your partner to apply some cream is not a permanent solution not to mention it could be quiet embarrassing.

Magic pills are just a complete waste of your hard earned money, if these where a real medical breakthrough doctors would be prescribing them and you wouldn’t have to buy them off some website that promises the world!

With that said antidepressants are sometimes prescribed this is due to the fact that these medications can sometimes cause side effects where they can help delay orgasm.

Daily exercise of the pubococcygeus muscle (PC Muscle) is also another option. These exercises help strengthen the PC muscles extremely well which in turn helps with overall control over the penis.

The stop and start method is also a technique that can help with sexual stamina this technique involves the man to be stimulated by his partner or by himself until the man recognizes that he is about to ejaculate, He then stops stimulation for around 30 seconds or until the need to ejaculate subsides and then he resumes stimulation. This process is repeated until the desired moment of ejaculation is reached.

Finally there is the squeeze technique. This involves squeezing the penis where the head glands joins the shaft when you are about to ejaculate. Squeezing for around 30 seconds is often needed in most cases. This is also a repeated process until the desired time of love making has been achieved.
