Over the summer holidays the latest kids fad has hit meaning that a definite theme will run through all your back to school items. They’ll want the brand new Dora the Explorer pencil case, the latest X-Men lunch box or bag. This is very well until the first day of school, you walk up to the gates and four or five kids from your son or daughters class have all got the identical pencil or bag. A few days later, your daughter comes home with someone else’s lunch. You then learn your son has been carrying around the wrong school bag for days and can’t do his reading as his book is in his genuine bag.
Most schools insist that their pupil’s uniform and other things are labelled. Things that are part of the uniform are identical and kids are bound to pick the same things and copy each other when it comes to other paraphernalia like pencil cases and bags. Things are certain to get mixed up, left behind and misplaced. It is a fact of life that kids mislay stuff. Children, like grownups have other things on their minds! It is better to pre-empt the problem with a straightforward, effective solution.
One of the most terrible things your child can mix up or misplace is their school bag. Their bag stores everything - their stationery, calculator, homework, textbooks and possibly a snack for later. It is pretty irritating when you have to contact teachers, visit the lost and found, hang on a week to see if it’s handed in and all the usual rigmarole. Not to mention expensive when you have to replace everything. Then you have to speak to the teacher again to see what books or homework your child will need.
Personalised bag tags are a smart way for children to identify their possessions. They can be used on school bags, sports bags, rucksacks and cases. In actual fact, they can be used on any item with a zipper such as pencil cases, coats and jackets. They are made from hard, thick plastic meaning they are hard-wearing and also waterproof. The tags are printed the same on both sides with a permanent ink so they cannot fade. Personalised bag tags are fastened to your childs zip and include a 20mm metal key ring attachment so they cannot peel off or get lost.
Children delight in any chance to convey their individuality making personalised bag tags lots of fun. They are available in vivid, bold colours, with imagery to help identification. Your child can even choose their very own design from the website, there are 70 in total, from unicorns to skateboarders. They can then select their own font or writing style and 4 lines of text can be added. Your children will love them!
The personalised bag tags can also be used for the purposes of health or allergy identification. You could choose the nut free zone or the asthmatic image. Alerting other children and grown ups to your childs dietary requirements or health needs. The three extra lines of text are also useful, there is plenty of space to write whatever information you need.
Don’t forget, the more time your child sees their name in writing, the more familiar it becomes and the quicker they’ll learn to recognise, write and spell it. Kids love labels and grown ups should too!
