You know your booty could be in much better shape, but where do you turn for help? Where you are right now is the most difficult position to be in. You know that you need help and want to find the best butt exercises so you can feel more confident and proud of your body, yet you aren't quite sure what the best butt exercises are or where to look for them.

The good news is the best butt exercises are some of the simplest exercises to be found anywhere on the market today. You have plenty of places to look for them, so let's get started with our list of ideas...

Books & Magazines

You can walk into any grocery store right now and find at least a couple magazines offering workouts and movements geared toward improving the rear end. You could just stand in the aisles of the store and search each magazine for suggestions of the best butt exercises or you can find a couple that deliver great butt workout ideas and bring them home with you.

The problem with fitness magazines is they tend to offer very short workouts or just a couple of the best butt exercises in each issue. You would have to get a subscription and sort through every issue to really build a substantial directory of the best butt exercises.

Books are another option, but there aren't too many that focus exclusively on the best butt exercises. Most books will be tied to some particular weight loss or nutrition program and will offer a variety of workout suggestions for the entire body. If you only want the best butt exercises you probably wouldn't want to pay for an entire book that only covers those exercises on a few pages or in one or two chapters.

Butt Workout DVDs

There are many workout DVDs that are dedicated exclusively to the rear end. This is a good way to get introduced to some of the best butt exercises and you will learn some modifications and alternative ways to perform each of them as well.

The problem with workout DVDs is you can never be certain of the quality of the video or effectiveness of the overall workout. Make sure to read online reviews of each one so you get a workout that will really work your butt in an effective manner.

My personal favourite is Joey Atlas - The Ultimate Leg, Butt, Hip and Thigh Makeover here… here’s my interview with him on best butt exercises . Let’s face it, you want a kick butt (excuse the pun) lower body workout that isn’t one of those junky workouts or dvd’s that you see laying around at the supermarkets gathering dust. I actually incorporate Joey’s workouts and exercises into my own lower body routines. And you can do them with limited or no gym equipment! Holy cow! You’ll feel muscles that you didn’t know existed.

Online Databases

Is also an option to find a directory of the best butt exercises because in most cases you can find a selection of tips and hints without paying anything!

However… There are downfalls!

You have to sort through the advertisements for gimmicky butt and leg exercise machines and junky workouts and it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Often leaving you feeling like you’re no wiser on what to do than before you started your search.

When it comes down to it… You can do some very basic movements right in your own home, such as leg raises, kicks, jumps, squats, and lunges. Just to name a few.

But don’t waste too much time confusing yourself with too many options for your lower body exercises. The above mentioned DVD "ULBHT" option is probably the easiest way to get your lower body on track if you’re not sure where to start and you can order it in DVD or downloadable format.
