Having a infant is both an exiting time and a tiring time. You can help reduce your stress and tiredness levels when baby arrives, by getting as much done now as you can. Here is a "to do" list of some things you should do about one 30 days before baby is born. I am certain you've realized that being pregnant can be both exciting as well as exhausting at the same time since there is so much that has to be done before the baby arrives. The greater you prepare right now will certainly help you when the baby is born. Here are a few helpful ideas in order to help you prepare for your baby's arrival in your home. These are items you you will wish to get done about a month before baby is due.
All home improvement tasks need to be finished. Many new parents think they'll complete the tasks once the baby is born, but that just will not happen right away. The arrival of the baby could delay these tasks for months. Complete any half-finished projects you have. And absolutely do not start any other projects unless you are sure you can complete them. If you have began home improvement projects complete them. It's tough to imagine but if you do not complete these projects now it might take months or even years after the baby is born to finish them. And do not be tempted to start any new task unless you're 100% certain that you can complete them before the baby is born.
Babies need to have the temperature at about 70 degrees in your home You need to take some time now to monitor your homes temperature. In the areas that baby will occupy the most, set the thermostat to seventy degrees and then find out if the it continues to be consistently 70 degrees. Something which is ignored while preparing for baby is the temperature of the house. Babies do well in homes that are about seventy degrees. Set your thermostats to seventy and then monitor the room to determine if the temperature continues to be at seventy degrees. Try this in the rooms where baby will be spending the most time.
Everyone has told you this and they are right, those first few weeks will be crazy. So get as much done now as possible. If you are not physically able to clean the house top to bottom then recruit the help of friends or hire a cleaning service. Keep things picked up and clean up your meal items right after you are finished. Doing these things help keep you ready because you never know when baby will make his appearance.
Go on a shopping spree and stock up. Everyday things like shampoo, toothpaste and soap are things you want to stock up on. Stock up on paper supplies like bathroom tissue and paper towels. Include paper plates in that list because there may be a few times when baby is born that you won't want to wash dishes. Stock up on cleaning supplies including laundry soaps, and make sure to include the soap you will be using for baby's clothes and diapers.
Now is also the time to stock-up on non-perishable grocery items. Again the more you can get done now, will be so helpful those first few weeks, so consider making and freezing meals. For two weeks make double the amount you would normally make and freeze half. Also when you're grocery shopping consider throwing in a few frozen meals or snacks. They Will come in handy. Also make a list of the perishable stuff you use each week. This way you won't have to try and remember what you need you can just get the list and go or give somebody else the list to help you out.
Always have your cell phone charged is another helpful reminder. Look to make certain you always have at least a half tank of gas. Being prepared now usually save time when the baby decides to make it's appearance.
There'll be so many sweet moments you will want to capture those first couple of months, so take the time now to get ready. So buy film or memory cards and be sure you have enough. The same goes for batteries make sure all the cameras and recorders are charged and that you have enough extra batteries. those moments only come once, so capture them while you can.
