The prom is the most awaited social event in the campus. It is like a coming out affair wherein you really have to look your best for others to appreciate you. In fact, the prom is every girl's dream. It's because this is the moment when she really has to forget classes and be a princess for a day. Who knows, she might even end up being the prom queen. Hence, it is just right to really choose your prom dress. Your dress should bring out the beauty hidden in you all those years. Below are some important points that would guide you in choosing your prom dress.
-
First, it would be a great idea to venture into another friendly color. Choose a color for your dress which you seldom use or have never used inside the campus. Choose something that would create a BANG! Try to experiment by trying on different colors. Bring a friend or you can bring your mom with you. They can be your judge while trying on dresses.
-
Go for pastel colors or cool colors. This will show you your right age without making you an inch older. Formally, you may seem mature but in essence, the pastel or cool colors will reveal your youth, your fresh aura.
-
Select a dress that would flaunt your most attractive body part. If you have a nice pair of legs, get a dress with uneven hems. Go backless if you have an IT back. For those who have have gorgeous eyes, go for a dress with glittery neckline or chest part to accent your eyes. These will surely make your eye color pop.
-
For the bodice, if you are thin or with a flat-chest, choose one with ruffles or large accent. If you are on the big side, pick a dress with a simple bodice which would not call much attention to your body.
-
Don't go for printed dresses. This would not make you look like a princess!
-
Now, for the design. For your age, it is advisable to go for the trendy style. This would make you look your age or even younger. Avoid using an out-dated style. There are a lot of retro looks which are in style now.
You will still look young in it because it is the call of fashion once again.
Now, you're ready to go and choose your prom dress. Follow these tips and just have fun with your mom or friends choosing the right prom dress.
