CPA, or cost per action marketing, is quickly becoming the marketing method to use amongst many internet marketers. The only way to do this is to get approved by a CPA network.

First of all, CPA networks need to know that you're going to be around for a while and that you know how to run your business. If you're going to apply for CPA networks, don't be like many people and just wait for them to call you. Go the extra mile and contact the affiliate manager assigned to you the very next day and ask him nicely to approve your application. Simply say that you applied yesterday and that you'd like to know how the application process is going. This will give you a good image in the affiliate manager's eyes and he'll view you as a person who goes after what he wants and who's ready to conduct business affairs. This will make it more likely that your application will be approved and it will also set the stage for a great business relationship. However, don't get aggressive and don't interrogate them about your application. Instead, you should stay calm and let yourself be interviewed so that your answers can convince him that you're the right person for the job. The best days to apply to a network are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, since the other days would be either weekend or closer to weekend. Then, if you don't hear anything after that, just send an email or IM asking about whether or not you've been approved. You may be hesitant to call, but just know that the affiliate managers nearly always push the applications through when you do it this way. Simply believe in what you're doing and have some answers prepared in advanced. Many CPA networks make the mistake of applying for these networks and they list their personal e-mail addresses, such as Hotmail. This isn't good because the people behind these free email addresses are able to remain anonymous more easily, and so they're seen as untrustworthy. If you don't have anything to keep in the shadows, use an address from your own domain name. If you want to come across more professionally, your own email address will do the trick and it will also let affiliate managers know that it's really you that's applying.

Go over the application carefully to make sure you filled everything out and that all the information is correct. This can leave the affiliate manager with a bad taste in his mouth because if you missed something on your application, what else do you miss in your business practices? If you don't have anything to put in a section, instead of not putting anything, just write, "Not Applicable." If you want to increase your chances for getting approved, you need to always seek to give the networks every possible thing they ask for so that there will be little question as to whether or not they'll hire you.

This information is just for getting approved with a CPA network, as there's much more to this great form of internet marketing.
